CM to open Sanjivini Clinic at Nipariya

Bhopal: Chief Minister Kamal Nath will inaugurate Sanjivini Clinic in Nipariya of Indore at 6.30 pm on December 7. The programme will be attended by the Minister for Public Health and Family Welfare Tulsiram Silawat, Minister for Urban Development and Housing Jaivardhan Singh and Mayor Malini Gaur.

In order to expand health services and facilities in the State, Sanjivini Clinics are being opened by the state government. These clinics are being opened mainly with an objective to provide health facilities with ease to the citizens dwelling in dense and slum settlements situated far from the health institutions. Under the first phase, 29 in Indore, 28 in Bhopal, 10 in Jabalpur, 6 each in Gwalior and Ujjain, 5 in Sagar and 4 Sanjivini Clinics in Rewa are being opened.

The Minister for Public Relations PC Sharma will inaugurate Sanjivini Clinic in Priyadarshini Nagar of Bhopal. Similarly, Minister for Social Justice Lakhan Ghanghoriya in Lema Garden area of Jabalpur and Minister for Food and Civil Supplies Pradyuman Singh will inaugurate Sanjivini Clinic in Adarsh Mill Road area of Gwalior.

cm congratulates Varsha Burman on her feat

Bhopal: Chief Minister Kamal Nath was called on at Mantralaya today by Varsha Burman, a young sportsperson of Madhya Pradesh, who won two gold medals and one bronze medal in the National Shooting Championship. While congratulating Burman, Kamal Nath said that her achievement has enhanced the glory of Madhya Pradesh.

The Chief Minister said that the talented sportspersons are being encouraged by the State Government. All possible resources are also being made available to the players to hone their skills so that they could bring laurels to the State and country. The Chief Minister expressed hope that Burman will continue to set new milestones in future too.

Corn Festival will be organised in Chhindwara

Bhopal: A State level Corn Festival is being organised in Chhindwara on December 15-16. Farmers will be encouraged to grow maize through the festival. Scientists from across the country, working in the field of maize production and its uses will exchange their views on development of maize based products in the festival.

On the first day of the festival, live concert of Playback Singer and Music Director Arman Malik will be held. A large scale painting competition will be organised in Government and private schools. The selected children of the competition will also be awarded.

The Principal Secretary Cooperative Ajit Kesri reviewed preparations for the Festival in Chhindwara on Thursday. He directed that maximum participation of farmers should be ensured in the festival.

Ambedkar’s 63rd death anniv commemorated

Bhopal: Under the aegis of BHEL SC/ST Employees Union, a grand programme was organised on Thursday at BHEL, Bhopal to commemorate the 63rd death anniversary of Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. On this occasion, AK Varshney General Manager (TPTN, CET & Feeders) was present as the Chief Guest. PK Mishra General Manager (Hydro, Fabrication & HR) along with all general managers, DROs, Liasioning Officer Ravindra Aind, GP Baghel, BL Verma, Trade union representatives and employees in large number were present in the programme Varshney garlanding the statue of Ambedkar threw light on the life & achievements of Ambedkar.

Addressing the gathering Mishra said that the life & sermons delivered by Babasaheb is a source of inspiration for us till today.
