Guv discusses issues of panchmarhi’s development

Bhopal: Governor Anandiben Patel discussed issues related to development of Panchmarhi with local advisory committees and other public representatives during her visit to Panchmarhi. It was decided in the discussion that Yoga programmes will be organised in Panchmarhi on the occasion of International Yoga Day widely. Patel called upon committees and public representatives for cooperataion in providing treatment to children suffering with tuberculosis. She said that everyone should at least take care a child suffering with tuberculosis adopting. Informing about the importance of pipal tree for environment protection, the Governor appealed to make children aware of environment and plant pipal saplings. Governor, other public representatives, planted ten pipal saplings in Raj Bhavan premises. The Governor was informed about the needs in Panchmarhi and development works.

state is proud of martyr Sandeep Yadav: CM

Bhopal: Chief Minister Kamal Nath has said that Madhya Pradesh is proud of CRPF jawan martyr Sandeep Yadav, who laid down his life fighting against terrorists, with indomitable courage and bravery. The Chief Minister said that the entire state government and the people of the state are with the martyr’s family. The state government expresses its commitment to the martyr's family by giving financial assistance of Rs one crore, housing and government job to one member of the family. It may be noted that CRPF jawan Sandeep Yadav of Dewas district st his life in the terrorist attack in Anant Nag on Wednesday.

80L farmer families helped by Kisan Yojana

Bhopal: About 80 lakh eligible farmer families will be benefited from the Prime Minister’s Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under the Yojana, total `6,000 that is `2,000 each in three installments will be deposited every year directly in the accounts of the eligible farmer families. The work of identifying agricultural land holder families eligible under the scheme is in progress. The patwaris have been authorized for smooth implementation of the scheme. The amount is being provided to patwaris at the rate of `18 per land holder family. The list of farmers' families will be prepared and presented before the Gram Sabha by the patwaris. After the approval of the Gram Sabha, the farmer families will be given the benefits of the scheme. The family whose name has not been included in the list will be able to submit the application to the Patwari / Gram Sabha / Tehsildar. Income Tax payers / financially sound farmer families will not get the benefit of this scheme. The target of identifying eligible farmer families will be completed by July 20, 2019.

more work on child rights is required: CM

Bhopal: Chief Minister Kamal Nath has laid stress on the need for the government, community and committed organisations like UNICEF to work jointly on issues related to violence, health and education of girls. The Chief Minister was holding a discussion with a UNICEF delegation at the Mantralaya on Thursday. The Chief Minister said that more work on child rights is required to be done. Social media has changed the whole atmosphere. It should be used constructively to create awareness in girls. He said that it should be used in changing mentality towards daughters. The Chief Minister apprised the delegation of the efforts being made to remove malnutrition, give right to education and provide health facilities to the children. Giving information about the field experiences of Indore and Badwani to the Chief Minister, UNICEF Country Head Yasmin Ali Haque said that a good initiative has been taken for the health of newborns in the state. Haque, State Chief of Field Office Michael Juma, Chief of Field Service Jalpa Ratna and office bearers were present.

Global warming: RMNH holds Street Plays

Bhopal: Regional Museum of Natural History, Bhopal organised Street Plays on Thursday at Mayur Park, Link Road No. 1 and near Shahpura Lake, Bhopal to create awareness among the people about Global Warming. The Street Plays were performed by Child Artists of Jawahar Bal Bhawan, Bhopal under the direction of KG Trivedi from Jawahar Bal Bhawan, Bhopal. Child artist of the Street Plays narrated that we human have disturb the environmental balance. Global Warming is continued due to unlimited deforestation, land pseudo-development, green house gases emitted in atmosphere; which resulted into climate change. The existence of human & other animals are in danger due to global warming and climate change. Scientist-B of the Museum & Coordinator of the programme Manik Lal Gupta made an appeal to children & other general public that people may try to decrease the carbon emission through their positive works, plant more trees and save energy to reduce the temperature of world for better future of succeeding generations.
