IWCS holds seminar

Inner wheel club of Swarnrekha Ranchi conducted a seminar with the District Chairman Sarita Prasad in Ranchi on Monday. Prasad urged the members to work towards the betterment of the society. Under the ‘mamta mission’ programme two hoardings were put up at Kuchery Chowk and Station road. For the disabled children at ‘Koshish’ the club also gave carpets, and pedestal fans. The organisation also gave a month’s ration to Nari Niketan which included 285 Kgs of rice, 32 Kgs daal, sugar, sattu, oil wheat flour and two gas cylinders. President Devyani Sanyal, PP Deepa Chauhan, Secretary Nina Aggrawal, vice president Nandita Gupta, treasurer Namrata, ISO Rinku Banerjee, and other members were present on the occasion.

Engineers’ Day at ICFAI

Engineers’ Day was celebrated by students and teachers of ICFAI University Jharkhand with great enthusiasm and fervour. The theme for the Engineers’ day, this year, is “Effective Water Management for Sustainable Development”. Before that, God Vishwakarma Puja was performed by the Students and faculty members, with devotion. Students participated enthusiastically in competitions in areas like Posters, Painting, Model Building and presentations, centered around the theme of the function. They were evaluated by a panel of judges and awards were presented to the top three best participants. Award for the best Model went to the Diploma in Technology (Mining) students who show cased an integrated water management in an Open Case Coal Mine.

Induction Programme at SBU

The second day of Induction programme started with great enthusiasm at Sarla Birla University. The dignitaries for today’s programme comprised NK Ojha Ex-GM, Coal India, Vishnu Priye-Director IIIT, Ranchi. Starting the proceeding NKOjha, Ex- GM, Coal India induced a burst of energy in the gathering by wishing them “A great morning”. He highlighted the importance of correct through form to achieve the optimum output. He showed immense confidence that the journey of SBU students would be fruitful. He stressed about the “Adult Learning Process” stating that there is no scope for passive learning. Sir spoke about the young minds to have a vision in mind to move ahead in life. Speaking about attributes that matters to us he quoted the mastermind of Apple Steve jobs” that your start in life in not what is most, it is where you end up that count.”

Vishwakarma Pooja at HEC

Viswakarma Pooja was celebrated in HEC Ranchi on Tuesday. Different shops/plants decorated their area with different concepts and ideas in addition to statue of Vishwakarma the creator of all industries.  This year in FFP Plant Vishwakarma Pooja was celebrated with full gaiety. 03 Forge Shop Pooja’s theme was “CHANDRAYAN 3”. Chandrayan 3 was exhibited with live model that is launching of Chandrayan 3. The theme was to locate “VIKRAM LANDER” at moon which was also shown with the moon model. CMD/HEC in the presence of Director Finance and Director (Marketing + Production) along with employees of forge shop, the model was inaugurated.People from distant places visited the site near 6000 Ton Press and appreciated of the theme and model.Launching of Chandrayan 3 was exhibited with live show.

SBI mega auction programme

State Bank of India (SBI) will hold mega auction programme on September 21 to auction the vehicles which the bank had financed to its customers but they could not paid the loan. The auction programme will be hold near Debuka Nursing Home at Lalpur Chowk in the State Capital. There will be private and commercial both type of vehicles.

Blood donation camp

The Namo Sena India celebrated the 69th birth day of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by organizing a blood donation camp at Sadar Hospital in which large number of members Namo Sena donated bloods.   On the occasion, the members also took a pledge to boycott single use plastic. The members claimed that they will create an awareness against single use plastic. The blood donation camp was attended by Namo Sena Ranchi unit president Rajesh Kumar Singh, Namo Sena Ranchi district youth president Ajay Kumar Singh among others.

UBI celebrates Hindi Diwas

United Bank of India (UBI), Jharkhand Zone organised Hindi Diwas on Wednesday in the State Capital. UBI DGM and Chief Regional Manager, Sudhir Kumar Sinha and General Manager, Anil Kumar. Vivek Sharma, Anand Kumar Shatishchandra Sinha were also present on the occasion.
