Intensive inspection of seeds, fertilisers by Govt

Bhopal: On the directives of the Minister for Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development, Horticulture and Food Processing Sachin Yadav, intensive checking campaign is being carried out by the Department of Agriculture in the state from November 15 to 30 to ensure purity of fertilisers, seeds and pesticides.On Friday, the first day of the campaign, 62 samples have been collected by inspecting godowns of 82 fertilizer sellers. In Sagar district, an FIR has been lodged under the Fertlisers Act at Baheria police station against the Proprietor Ashraf Hussain of the concerned firm on finding illegal manufacturing of fertilizer, its storage and sale.In the campaign, 4 samples were collected by inspecting 5 fertilizer manufacturing units. The inspection teams inspected the godowns of 8 pesticides sellers and samples have been taken. Apart from this, 8 seed samples have been taken from the 14 seed sellers after inspection of their godowns.

MIN INSPECTS PREPARATIONS FOR IJTEMA

Bhopal: Minister for Religious Trust and Endowments PC Sharma reached Eitkhedi on Saturday and inspected the preparations being made for the Ijtema (Congregation) to be held in this month.Sharma told the officers that all the arrangements including local transportation to carry people from railway station and bus stand to Eitkhedi Ijtema site, parking and security should be ensured. Besides accommodation arrangement for the participants, all other arrangements should also be completed in time.The Office Bearers of the Ijtema Organising Committee, Commissioner Municipal Corporation B Vijay Dutta and concerned officers of various departments were present at the time of inspection. The Minister, Sharma performed Bhoomi-Pujan of development works costing Rs 50 lakh in Ward 77. Kailash Mishra, Commissioner Municipal Corporation B Vijay Dutta, Mubarik Qamaruddin Dawoodi, Sajid Ansari, Amit Sharma, Yogendra Singh Chouhan, Asmat Siddiqui, Naseem Qureshi, Ranjana Sharma, Mukhtar Hasan, Umar Bhai and Rashida Mustafa were present on the occasion.

CRISP SIGNS MOU WITH IASOWA

Bhopal: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Centre for Research and Industrial Staff Performance (CRISP) and IAS Officers Wives Association (IASOWA). IASOWA will support in mobilization of candidates for various employment oriented training organized by CRISP. CRISP is currently organizing various trainings for unemployed youth under skill development scheme of Mukhya Mantri Kaushal Samvardhan Yojana (MMKSY), Pradhanmantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation (NBCFDC) and Rural Electrification Corporation Limited (REC). The main objective of these trainings is to provide livelihood and employment opportunities to unemployed youth. Under these programmes, trainees will be assisted by knowledge, skills and personality development to work as semi-skilled and skilled technician, self – employment and entrepreneurship development. In this regard, an MoU was signed between IASOWA and CRISP here today. The agreement was signed by Nandini Mohanty, Director of IASOWA and Mukesh Sharma, Chief Executive Officer, CRISP. Mohanty appreciated the work being done by CRISP in the area of Skill Development and assured that CRISP and IASOWA will continue to work together in future also. On the occasion, Ritu Kesari and Geeta Narhari from IASOWA and Rajesh Maheshwari, Basant Sutar and Faisal from CRISP were also present.

CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATED AT ICONIC SCHOOL

Bhopal: ‘Children’s Day’ - The very word conjures a sense of excitement and a day full of fun-filled activities. This exact essence was replicated at The Iconic School.The Iconic School organized a Children’s Day Fete of the students, by the students and for the students during school hours. The presence of children, as well as the parents of kindergarten, was remarkable.The Class educators and students together set up games stalls and decorated them with great ideas. Game stalls such as Hit the Bulls Eye, Feed the Clown, Spot your Black, Game of Luck and Memory game kept everyone entertained. The students not only gave their innovative ideas in designing the games but also had a good start towards learning entrepreneurship skills. The food stalls were a delight to the taste buds of the students, prepared under the school chef’s expert guidance and organised with a parent-school partnership.The students had a great time and surely have a memory to cherish. The fete committee, parent body worked tirelessly to prepare for the day.
