Science Exhibition held at SCS
With different innovative projects and models on display, the Annual Science Exhibition was held at Surendranath Centenary School on Tuesday. The chief guest was Brigadier Sanjeev Kumar, Commander 61 Infantry Brigade who inaugurated the grand annual Science Exhibition by lighting the lamp. Principal Samita Sinha was also present to grace the occasion. Under the guidance of their teachers’ 240 students from classes 9 to 12 made 120 stunning display of their innovative projects and models based on various topics from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science. Few models that attracted the audience were the Mobile Applications, Presentation on Waste Water treatments, and Fun with Chemistry etc.
114th Foundation Day of Canara Bank
The 114th Foundation Day of Canara Bank was celebrated on Tuesday in the presence of Circle Head Subodh Kumar. The ceremony was organized in 3 regional offices and all branches under it including Canara Bank Ranchi circle. The ceremony at Canara Bank, Circle Office, Ranchi began with lighting the lamp and paying homage to our founder Late Ambebal Subba Rao Pai. Remembering the thoughts of Amambal Subba Rao Pai, Kumar encouraged the employees. On this occasion Anita Ekka, Assistant General Manager, Shailesh Kumar Singh, Assistant General Manager and Sanjay Kumar, Assistant General Manager and Head of Regional Office, Ranchi also addressed and motivated the employees for business development of the organization and achieving past glory of Canara Bank.
Medical Camp organised by CMPDI
Under the aegis of CSR of CMPDI, a Free Medical Camp was organized at Birsa High School, Hithia Gonda, Dam Side, Ranchi. The Camp was inaugurated by Meeta Saran W/o Shekhar Saran, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, CMPDI. On this occasion, Alok Kumar, GM (HRD/CSR), CMPDI; SK Sinha, Jasvir Singh, Safina Parvin and Smt. Sushma Tiwari, Principal were also present. The normal medical check-up of the Girls and boys of school and nearby villagers was conducted in this camp.
