Awareness on menstrual hygiene

Today under the Niine movement an awareness session was organised at Shardhanand Bal Mandir Senior Secondary School where 600 kids participated in different sections of 8th 9th and 10th grade. The session was taken by Mangesh Jha representative of Niine Movt. The drive is going to take place across the State the main mission and vision of this movement is to aware the masses regarding menstrual hygiene as well as to touch 9million womankind who don't have access to sanitary pads. Principal Anil Kr Mishra Admin Lalit Kr Chaudhary and Poonam was also there from the school's end

Train routes altered

Due to heavy rains and water-logging on tracks in Titlagarh-Sambalpur section of East Cost Railway a couple of trains including Dhanbad-Allahpujha Express (Up and Down) and Hatia-Yeshwantpur Express will run on changed route and will cross through Sambalpur, Angul and Khurda Road.

DPS students on ‘World of Plants’

In an endeavour to make learning fulfilled, the students of class Prep at DPS, Ranchi performed an activity on “The World of Plants”. The little learners described in an interactive way about the different parts of a plant, their different sizes and the resources like food, paper, wood, medicines, etc that we get from plants. This activity created awareness among the children about the several environmental problems that man is falling at an alarming rate. This activity instilled knowledge about how and why plants should be protected and cared to provide us with a diverse, beautiful, and green environment.

Siemens Scholarship Programme

Siemens Limited has launched the 7th edition of Siemens Scholarship Programme. Based on the German model of Dual Education, the programme hones youth to become industry-ready technicians and engineers, and launch a sustainable career in engineering, R&D or manufacturing. Under this initiative, Siemens will provide financial assistance to deserving meritorious students who lack the economic means. Siemens would also acquaint these bright minds with the dynamics of the industry, thereby leading to their holistic development. The scholarship program is available for students throughout the four years of graduation and 50 per cent of scholarships is reserved for girls. As of 2019, 585 students from 65 government engineering colleges across 23 states in India have been part of the Siemens Scholarship Program.
