Guv expresses grief over Prem Singh’s demise

Bhopal: Governor Anandiben Patel reached the residence of former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday and expressed condolences over the demise of his father Prem Singh. The Governor paid floral tribute on the portrait of late Singh.

Meet held to resolve Urban Housing issues

Bhopal: RERA Chairman Anthony DeSa took part in a meeting held in connection with Urban Housing issues in the states of the Urban Ministry of the Central Government. The National Committee prepared a roadmap to develop an IT platform for the digital work of all RERA states. In two phases, the roadmap will be completed in total 15 months. This will increase transparency, convenience and inter- operability from one uniform platform.

Son donates deceased father’s eyes to Sewa Sadan

Bhopal: Eyes of deceased Arjundas Chelani 85 years have been donated to Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital by his Son Ajit Chelani. It is learnt that resident of Sant Hirdaram Nagar, late Arjundas Chelani died on Friday. With this donation two blind persons would now get eye-sight. As many as 1,692 free cornea transplantations have so far been performed in Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital. Trustee LC Janiyani paid homage to the departed soul and expressed gratitude to the family members for this donation.

summer camp of SPS concludes

Bhopal: Sagar Public School (SPS) Rohit Nagar and Gandhi Nagar concluded its summer camp with great zeal and enthusiasm with a grand closing ceremony in the presence of parents. A spectacular programme marked the closing ceremony of summer camp in which 450+ students from all corners of Bhopal enthusiastically participated during May 1 – June 8, 2019 summer camp. SPS summer camp offered a variety of indoor/outdoor sports and activities such as skating, swimming, cricket, football, basketball, badminton, art and craft activities etc. A cultural programme comprising of musical melodies, dance performances, skits etc was also presented by the participants to mark the occasion. Winners were awarded with medals/cups and certificates for competition(s) held during the camp. Parents in their messages thanked the School(s), Principal(s), trainers, staff for successfully organizing the summer camp as a wonderful learning platform to utilize summer vacations yet stay healthy in a relaxed environment with skill development to craft their future.
