Union Bank holds customer meet

Union Bank of India organised MSME Customer-Banker meet on August 14, wherein detailed discussion held on challenges and opportunities attached with MSME sector and best possible solution thereof. Praveen Sharma, Field General Manager, Ranchi and Vipan Singh, Regional Head Ranchi interacted with the customers present in the meeting. Customers from Jamshedpur and Bokaro also attended the meet besides those from Ranchi. The Main Agenda of the meeting was to interact and discuss with Customer regarding their problems facing in finance and necessary steps to be taken to address the same. Bank also deliberates on different MSME Products offered by the Bank and which is suitable to their business requirement. Customers were made aware of collateral free loans covered under CGTMSE and its features which assist emerging young entrepreneurs to realize their dream.

UBI meet for MSME customers

A special meeting for MSME customers was organised on Saturday by United Bank of India, Ranchi Branch. The meeting was chaired by Chief Regional Manager, Sudhir Kumar Sinha, who listened to the suggestions of the customers seriously and instructed to implement them at the earliest. In the contemporary economic scenario Sinha analysed the ways and means to help MSME customers and said that the bank will provide all possible support to them. Chief Manager of the Branch Deepak Kumar Sinha also addressed the meeting and delivered the vote of thanks. The customers included Gaurav Budhiya, Nikhil Jain, Mahesh Mahto, Ramji Prasad, SK Sharma, Suman Kumar Singh, Ghanshyam Agrawal, Abhishek Upadhyay, Md junaid among others.

Canara Bank organises meeting

Aimed to generating ideas and reviewing the performance of banks and completing the first phase of the consultation process designed to combine them with national priorities, as directed by Department of Financial Services (DFS), Government of India at Canara Bank, Ranchi Regional Office held a meeting on Saturday. The branch heads of Canara Bank shared their valuable views with an action plan keeping in mind the role of the bank in the concept of all-round development of the nation.

PNB organises consultation meeting

The first day meeting started on Saturday under the bottom up process in the chairmanship of Punjab National Bank (PNB) General Manager, Satish Kumar Chawla, attended by Joint Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Government of India Madnesh Mishra as the Chief Guest were present. In the meeting, Mishra talked about the development of the society by linking the goals and development of the bank with the national priorities, as well as seeking suggestions from all the branch heads on how to make the banking goal commensurate with the national priorities, on which all Branch heads openly participate and give their views. Some branch heads talked about the development of society through increasing government schemes related to financial inclusion, women empowerment, water power and others.

‘Go Green’ drive

Field General Manager Union Bank of India, Pravin Sharma unfurled the tricolour on the occasion of 73rd Independence Day at the office of Union Bank of India Field General Manager’s office at Ranchi. In his address, Sharma recalled the high sacrifice made by martyrs in freedom struggle which led to our freedom. Sharma also stressed the importance and necessity of environment protection and the drive our bank has initiated across the country named “Go Green”. He also administered a pledge of Go Green commitment. On this occasion and to initiate the Go Green drive, Sharma and Vipan Singh, Regional Head Ranchi planted tree at the premises of Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Shyamali, Ranchi. Present there were Samarjit Jana, Principal of the school, Ram Prasad Mishra, Dy Zonal Head, Ranchi, Sanjeev Kumar, SARAL Head Ranchi and large number of staffs of Union Bank of India.

Club Activities at SBPS

To hone the creativity of the students various club activities were organised in the premises of Sarala Birla Public School on August 17. Emphasis was laid on the active participation of all students on various social, athletic and artistic clubs like- leadership and vigilance, junk modelling, shramdaan, gardening and Eco club, science innovation, maths club, IT, media and communication, first aid, skating, etc. Students were guided to discover and create their own understanding in their respective field of interest. In quiz and heritage, a small quiz was conducted on the cultural heritage of India and posters were also designed for the same. In cricket, football, firing and shooting club, students were given training on various techniques for the same. In movie and documentary, short motivational videos highlighting the day to day issues of society were shown.
