Kirti Kalash Kailash inaugurated

Governor Lalji Tandon today inaugurated a festchrift 'Kirti Kalash Kailash' based on Litterateur Padmashri Kailash Madwaiah at Raj Bhavan on Saturday. Organization Secretary of Bundelkhand Parishad Devendra Kumar Jain and Literary Secretary Yogesh Dixit gave an introduction of the literary matter of the festchrift. The Governor signed a copy of the book and presented it to Madwaiah.

Workers of National Health Mission will be reinstated

Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Tulsiram Silavat has said that the contract workers removed from the National Health Mission in the year 2016-17 will be reinstated. He told that information regarding this has been released by the Mission Director.

The removed contract workers will have to apply to the Mission Director by November 16. Applications received after the due date will not be considered.

Work of Rs 6459.78 cr approved for 34 cities

Works of total Rs 6459.78 crore have been approved in 34 cities of the state under AMRUT Yojana. These include 33 cities of more than one lakh population along with Omkareshwar. Urban Development and Housing Minister Jaivardhan Singh told that provision of Rs 2000 crore has been made in this fiscal year under the scheme.

Under the scheme, works of Rs 2233.68 crore for drinking water, Rs 3598.59 crore for sewerage, Rs 228.20 crore for construction of nullahs, Rs 134.80 crore for green area development and schemes of Rs 253.58 crore for urban transport have been approved. All the works have been started.

For green area and park development, 92 projects have been approved in 32 cities. Out of these, 32 projects of 14 cities have been completed while the remaining are in progress. As many as 23 projects of storm water and drains in 9 cities and 28 projects of public transport in 18 cities have been approved.

RED FM launches College ke Tashanbaaz

The 93.5 RED FM, one of the largest and most awarded private radio networks, announced the launch of ‘College keTashanbaaz’, an endeavor to promote the best talent from colleges. The activity will take place in various colleges across 27 cities.

RED FM will provide a platform to enthusiastic youth in tier2 cities, who are willing to showcase their talent in front of the entire college and be recognized in the fields of dance, singing, dramatics etc.

The RED FM mobile canteris reaching out to the top 10-15 colleges in each city where hundreds of students will be auditioning in front of a jury. The participants will register through SMS and the selection will be based on talent, stage presence and X-Factor. The platform aims to bring out the best of the talent from the top colleges across Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Allahabad, Dehradun, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bhubneswar, Siliguri, Asansol, Guwahati, Patna, Jamshedpur, Ahmedabad, Surat, Baroda, Rajkot, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Aurangabad and Jammu.
