Short film released on HEC
A three-minute corporate film was made and released by the marketing department of HEC on Saturday. The film captures the journey of HEC, its developments and contributions to the different sectors. It incorporates glimpses not only from its own premises and workshops but also covers the products in operations at its clients like steel plants and coal mines. It also shows the facilities, infrastructure, design capabilities, unique and first time achievements of HEC and primarily the human force of the corporate. The movie is available on the HEC website.
Lions club plantation drive
Under the ‘Save Environment’ mission, Lions Club of Ranchi planted 10 fruit bearing trees at JMJ School, Doranda on Saturday. President Rinku Banerjee said that the trees planted included jamun, amla, guava, custard apple and litchi while 10 saplings were given to children who have space to plant trees around their houses. Along with the school management, former district president Sushma Trivedi, Geeta Ojha, Dr Asha Verma and Poonambala were present on the occasion.
SBI auctions vehicles
State Bank of India today organised auction of seized vehicles at SBI Colony, Lalpur, where 18 vehicles were put up for auction at the reserve price of Rs 42,14,038. As many as 11 vehicles were auctioned on Saturday at the cost of Rs 35,36,000. SBI, Ranchi Circle DGM NK Singh, RACPC, AGM R Sharan Singh, SMEC AGM P Priyadarshi alongwith others were present on the occasion.
