Rhymes competition held at SBPS

Ranchi: An Inter-House Rhymes Competition was organised for the students of KG I and KG II in the premises of SBPS on Monday. The competition was divided into two categories i.e. group and solo performance, wherein, the pupils of KG I performed in group from four houses in the topics like 'Hum Bharat Ke Veer Jawan', 'Barsa Paani', 'Lala Ji Ne Kela Khaya' and solo performance was given by 4 participants from 4 houses of KG II in the topics like mother, father, friends, grandparents. All the participants performed earnestly and recited their poems confidently. The audience were spellbound by the rendition of the pupils. The eye-catching props and presentation added icing to the cake.

CIPET admission process begins

Ranchi: Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET) Ranchi an institute to develop manpower in different disciplines of plastic engineering & technology has issued admission process for academic session 2019-20. The institute offer diploma courses on various disciplines. The online registration for admission in the institute commenced on April 18, issuance of admit card will commence on June 26. Last date for submission of online application in June  30, while the examination date is scheduled on July 7.

Two injured in car accident

Ranchi:Two persons were injured after a car turned turtle at sector XII Road in Chas on Monday. Police said that two youths had a narrow escape when the car in which they were travelling turned turtle after one of its tires burst The youth, who was driving the car lost control over the car and which led to the accident. The car was damaged badly but the passengers escaped with minor injuries. The persons have been identified as Sukhbir and Balbir was returning from Chas to sector XII after having some work   in area.

National workshop organised at BIT

Ranchi: A National Level Workshop on Internet of Things is being organised by the Electrical and Electronics Department of BIT Mesra between May 20 and 24. On the first day of the five-day workshop was marked with the inauguration ceremony in presence of eminent industrialists like Sudarshan Chakrabarti, Executive, Director and CEO, Patratu Bidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd and Sharat Kumar, Chief, Project, Tata Steel Ltd, Jamshedpur.Sharat Kumar also briefed the audience highlighting about green energy and how Tata Steel have already adopted various methodologies to exploit the benefits of such energy in their plants for example Tata Steel hosts the first solar power plant of more than 3 MW in an Iron Mine in the world.
