Workshop on Data Science
IEEE student branch, BIT Mesra conducted a workshop on Data Science from 13th November 2019 to 15th November. Kiran Muthigi, Rishabh Jain, Abbas Ismail, Aryan Dosaj and Shiksha Rawat of the K17 batch were main mentors who guided the students throughout the three-day workshop. The topics like introduction to data science and its applications were covered. Different Python libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib were briefly discussed. The first day of the workshop concluded with a doubt clearing session and the seniors personally attended to the queries of pupils. On the second day students were taught the differences between supervised and unsupervised learning with the help of easy to understand examples. The workshop concluded with the students being given an implementation program to download followed by a doubt clearing session.
Children’s Day at FMPS
First mark Public School celebrated Children’s Day on November 14 with different interesting activities participated by students of the school. The students saw their own reflection on the stage in form of their teachers who presented the thought/activities which were practiced by students on daily basis. Director of the school addressed the students and said that they are the dreams of the nation. Administrator Pramod Kumar said that every child should be loved, cherished and protected. A number of cultural programmes with fun and frolic were conducted as the teachers and staff members played a key role in making the programme a success.
MarkBuzz 2.0 at XISS
Marketing Management students of XISS, hosted the second edition of its Annual Management Fest titled "MarkBuzz 2.0" here on Saturday. The event was inaugurated by a Panel Discussion by Ravi Ranjan( entrepreneurship evangelist and two times TedX speaker), Anurag Mazumdar (co-founder, The Logical Indian), RJ Gaurrav ( brand ambassador of Swachh Indore and Mentor at Change Atal Innovation) and Prof. A.R. Bodra (Former Head of Programme, Marketing Management) who imparted valuable insights on Speed of Technology Change, Start up Culture, Sustainable Development and Traditional Business- The Challenges to Co-exist. A Flash Mob took place to shoot up the energy and momentum of the excited participants and the crowd a notch higher.
Indian Bank organises customer meet
Customer meet was organised by Indian Bank in the State Capital on Saturday. In this function, Regional General Manager, Venkates Perumal informed the customers about various deposits and expenditure plans and interest rates of Indian Bank. Zonal Manager, Prabhat Ranjan Sinha while addressing the customers said that customer service has always been a priority for Indian Bank. The program included many new customers who were granted loans.
