Surprise inspection of TT Nagar Stadium

Bhopal: Minister for Sports and Youth Welfare Jeetu Patwari conducted surprise inspection of TT Nagar Stadium today morning. He reached stadium without any prior intimation. Patwari visited hostels and various academies situated in the stadium and gathered information about facilities from the players. Expressing unhappiness over the arrangement of sanitation in boys’ hostel, Patwari directed sanitation supervisor to make the arrangements in order within 15 days. He also gave instructions to invite tenders again for sanitation arrangements. While meeting female players in hostel, he obtained information about their diet plan, lodging arrangements and training. Besides, Patwari gave instructions to prepare a proposal for the post of hostel warden for approval. On getting information from approximately 400 players residing in hostels about the insufficient numbers of washing machines being used to wash bed sheets and pillow covers along with clothes of these players, he gave instructions to increase numbers of machines and workers. The Director Sports and Youth Welfare SL Thousan was present on the occasion.

‘Manifesto’s promises will be fulfilled’

Bhopal: All promises of manifesto will be fulfilled by the state government. This was said by the Minister for Home and Jail Bala Bachchan at a State level programme of Panchayat Secretaries’ Association organised at Samanvay Bhavan on Thursday. He further mentioned that work has already been started on all the points of the manifesto. Minister for Panchayat and Rural Development Kamleshwar Patel said that points given in the manifesto for Panchayat Secretaries will be fulfilled on priority. He assured Panchayat Secretaries that they will be empowered soon. He told Panchayat Secretaries to work with devotion and loyalty.

‘61 works cancelled by Panchayat Raj’

Bhopal: Information regarding the pending amount of various schemes is being compiled with the intention of ensuring their proper utilisation in the district. Additional Chief Secretary Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Iqbal Singh Bains has directed concerned persons to spend the pending amount on the scheme with which it is related. Bains told that 61 works have been canceled by the Directorate of Panchayat Raj, which had been approved under other heads. Bains said that no decision has been taken regarding withdrawal of funds from the accounts of district and district panchayats.

Sanchay bags bronze in 2000 meters road race

Bhopal: Sanchay Singh, student of Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar class VIII has bagged bronze medal in 2000 meters road race in 64th National School Games Skating Championship 2018 organized by SGFI (School Games Federation of India) held at Shiv Ganga Roller Skating Club, Belgaum, Karnataka during December 26-29, 2018.Sanchay has also won bronze medal in 10 Km race in 56th RSFI National Skating Championship of RSFI Nationals held at Vuda Park, Jalari, Vishakhapatnam during December 18-23, 2018 in U-14 Inline category. Sudhir Kumar Agrawal, Chairman, Sagar Group and Principal, Pankaj Sharma congratulated Sanchay Singh for the achievement in bringing laurels to state and to school.
