Winter camp held in Blossoms School

Bhubaneswar: “All work and no play make Jack a dull boy.” Keeping this motto in mind, the Blossoms School here held a winter camp in the school premises for its students and teachers after the tiring periodic test. The camp opened with a bonfire followed by Antakshari, clay modelling and exciting games from Classes-I to III. Classes-IV to V students performed Aantakshari, dumb charades and games followed by aerobics. Classes-VI to X students engaged themselves in treasure hunt, tug of strength and instrumental music. Fine arts and fun games were too organised being also witnessed by visiting foreign delegates. The most attractive event was a ‘Selfie Corner’, where students were dressed in colourful costumes representing different States.

DAV CDA student excels in TERRE Olympiad

Cuttack: Krishnansu Mohapatra, a Class-X student of the DAV Public School, CDA, was awarded with a gold medal for securing first position at the national-level TERRE Olympiad 2018-19 in New Delhi recently. He was awarded by HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar. School Principal Namita Mohanty along with the DAV fraternity congratulated him on his exemplary achievement and wished him luck for all his future endeavours.
