Kalash yatra in city

On the holy occasion of the third anniversary of Sri Sharveshwar Mahadev Temple, Hesal a grand‘Kalash yatra’ was taken out in the Capital City on Thursday. Prior to this, worship was done with all traditions and rituals. Aditya Vikram Jaiswal, former secretary of the State Congress was welcomed by the members of organizing committee.

While summing up this programme Jaiswal said, “this kind of arrangements raises the virtues of the devotees. Kalash Yatra, Rudrabhishek and Mahaprasad distribution increases spiritual consciousness and goodwill in people.”

NSUI demands to issue results

A delegation of the State NSUI, led by State Secretary Amarjeet Kumar demanded to issue the second semester examination result of MBA at the earliest and also raised requisition to generate the first semester result of the examination from Vice Chancellor of Ranchi University, R.K Pandey. NSUI also demanded to make examination forms online in all the departments and organise cultural organizations in all departments. If the demands are not met the union will hold protest against the Ranchi University.

SBPS shines at Rendezvous 2019

SBPS convened an Inter-school Sports and Cultural Competitions, ‘Rendezvous’ held on July 06. The students participated in rifle shooting and swimming competitions and have shown remarkable performance. In the 10 m Air Rifle Open Ashutosh Anand bagged the Gold medal, Piyush Kumar, Silver medal, Shashwat Dwivedi received the Bronze medal and others performed immensely well. Principal, Paramjit Kaur and School Head and Admin, Pradeep Verma congratulated the winners and wished them luck for the future.

Prep students hold programme

Prep students of Delhi Public School, Ranchi presented an activity named as “At the zoo” here on Thursday. Students, Teachers and others staffs witnessed the fascinating sight of the hefty elephants, Royal tigers, bunny rabbits, ferocious lions, notorious monkeys and many more. An environment of a zoo through themed decor, paintings and masks was created wherein different types of animals, birds and reptiles were displayed in cages to introduce the nursery children to animals on Thursday. They concluded the activity with some questions on zoo and with a beautiful rhyme “what fun it is to be in a zoo”.

Best Summer Internship Awards

After evaluation by a panel of judges, students of various programmes were awarded Best Summer Internship awards at a function held today at  ICFAI University, Jharkhand. Welcoming the audience to the function, Prof ORS Rao, Vice-Chancellor of the University said, “Students of all of the programmes at our University have to go through Summer Internship in industry, which is arranged by the University. This helps the students to acquire industry exposure and hands-on skills. In order to encourage the students that excel in doing the internships, we give Best Internship awards to the students, on the basis of the extent of learning, contribution to the company and presentation of the report.”
