Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat presided over a meeting regarding construction of an integrated green building in the Uttarakhand Transport Corporation workshop campus on Haridwar Road in Dehradun under the Smart City project. Urban Development Minister Madan Kaushik and Transport Minister Yashpal Arya were also present in this meeting with the officials concerned.
The Chief Minister said that to enable facilitation of Government facilities at one place under the Smart City project, the integrated green building will be built in the workshop campus of the transport corporation.
This will be a district secretariat in a way. Offices of 25 departments including the collectorate, Vikash Bhawan and transport corporation will be set up at this location.
Rawat also directed the formation of a committee under chief secretary Utpal Kumar Singh for compensation to the corporation for this land. This committee will prepare a proposal and submit it to the Chief Minister. The Urban Development secretary Shailesh Bagauli, Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority vice chairman Ashish Kumar Shrivastava and other departmental officials concerned were also present in the meeting.
