The ‘Jai Jagat 2020’ Yatra, which started from Rajghat in Delhi, has arrived in Madhya Pradesh on Monday via Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. As soon as Jai Jagat's Yatri stepped on the old bridge on Chambal between Dholpur to Morena in Rajasthan, the Chambal echoed with slogans of world peace.

Ex district Panchayat president Rakesh Yadav, convenor of Chambal division of Jai Jagat Yatra, washed the feets of all 50 companions who will continue to march till the end of the yatra to welcome them on the land of Madhya Pradesh. On this occasion villagers of Morena and Chambal divisions, many senior leaders, activists, social workers and intellectuals were present. Prominent among them includes Apex Bank President Ashok Singh, Morena MLA Raghuraj Singh Kanshana, Sabalgarh MLA Baijnath Kushwaha, Ekta Parishad National President Ran Singh Parmar, Jai Jagat's Morena Convenor Udaybhan Singh.

At a welcome meeting held in Morena, the leader of ‘Jai Jagat 2020’ and the founder of Ekta Parishad, Rajagopal PV said that today many forms of violence are appearing in different places all over the world for different reasons. If we want to save society and the environment, then we have to adopt the path of non-violence, only then peace will come in the world. In Chambal in the 70s, the rebellions abandoned the gun and adopted the path of non-violence, which is a worldwide example. The path of non-violence that Gandhiji showed can be internalized in true sense only by following the path of human welfare. People from all over the world are connected with this march, to develop a society based on peace and justice in the world.

The march consists of 50 foot marchers, including urban youth and rural community leaders, including 10 activists from France, New Zealand, Kenya, Belgium and Switzerland. The yatra will move forward from Morena tomorrow and reach the Gandhi Ashram at Jaura, where a camp will be organized on the concept of peace and justice for 4 days.

In India, the yatra will reach Gandhi Ashram located in Seva Gram, Wardha, Maharashtra via Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, where Peace Consultation will be organized to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Ba-Bapu and 125th birth anniversary of Acharya Vinoba Bhave. After this, the Yatra will proceed to other countries.
