A two-day Jajpur district level 65th Inter School Cricket Tournament concluded at the Rajib Gandhi Stadium here with much enthusiasm on Sunday.
In the final match, Dharmasala team beat Binjharpur team by 9 wickets in a stipulated 15 over match. The closing and prize giving ceremony was presided over by Chrome Nagar Bidyapeeth headmaster Sanjay Kumar Deo. Jajpur District Athletic Association secretary Sambit Kumar Mohanty, Udayabata Editor Dushmanta Kumar Rout and District Sports Inspector Sambunath Das attended the ceremony as guests and praised the students for their performances and advised to perform better in the coming State level competition to be held at Angul between November 25 and December 1.
Binjharpur Team received Runners Up trophy while Dharmasala Team received Champions trophy. The tournament was inaugurated by Jajpur District Athletic Association working president Rasananda Mohanty on Saturday. On the closing ceremony the umpires, coaches and team managers were felicitated.
