Gold and silver jewellery worth Rs 70,000 were burgled from Kailash Nagar under Bairagarh police station area on Monday. Police said that the victim Aarti Saini had gone to MP Nagar and where she received information that valuables have been burgled.

The victim in her complaint stated that she had gone to meet her relative in MP Nagar when she was returned the valuables were found burgled. Victim approached police and lodged a complaint.

Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under sections 454 and 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation.

A gold chain, a pair of gold ear rings, silver anklets, silver coins were burgled and total loss was around Rs 70000.

Meanwhile, six mobile phones worth Rs 80000 were burgled from a parked scooter at St. Theresa School under Piplani police station area on Monday.

Police said that the victim Ishan Agrawal came to take examination at St.Theresa School in the morning and kept his mobile phones along with five other students in dickey of his scooter.

A complaint was lodged with the Piplani police stating that before examination six mobile phones of students were kept inside the dickey of scooter of the victim and after the examination when the victim checked the scooter dickey was found open and mobile phones were found stolen. Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation police have registered a case under section 380 of the IPC and started further investigation.
