On the eve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Jharkhand, State BJP Spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo said that September 12 is going to become a historic day for the State.
Shahdeo said that the PM will not only inaugurate the biggest Panchayat of the State but will also unveil the newly built inland port at Santhal Pargana, which will open doors of business and development in the neglected region. The PM will also launch pension schemes for farmers and small traders, which is unique in the world.
Shahdeo said that in his 10 years of reign as Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh came to Jharkhand for only once, while PM narendra Modi has visited the State a dozen times in five years and 100 days.
He said that in last five years and 100 days Rahul Gandhi has visited Jharkhand only thrice. “This example clearly shows that Jharkhand comes at the last pedestal in the list of Congress’ priorities and it doesn’t have any affection towards the people of the State. The PM has launched world’s biggest health insurance scheme, Ayushman Bharat, from the soil of Jharkhand and has shown his affection towards people of the State. There is a huge excitement among common masses about PM’s visit and a record gathering will witness the event,” he said.
