Jiva Mehta, the disciple of Bharatnatyam exponent and dance Guru Lata Munshi, performed in three cities of US. She recieved a wonderful response from the art lovers.

It is to be noted that she performed at Boston, North Brunswick (New Jersey) and New York during the months of June and July. Bharatnatyam by Jiva Mehta of Indian classical art received high praise in all the three cities of America. After the performance, the audience present in the performances with curiosity asked questions related to Bharatanatyam dance. Which were answered by Jiva Mehta in simple language.

The art lovers over there asked about the classical dance, music, costumes, make up and much more.  It is notable that the main guest of the program in New Jersey was the Mayor Phil Cramer.

Encouraged by the success of the performance, the dancer said thst the event was organized by the Academy of Creative Arts, Boston, to promote Indian classical art in the US, the Academy will continue to organize such events in the future, she added.

She presented the dance with much grace. She gave a performance on Hindustani music, which enthralled the audiences.

Her performance mesmerized the audiences and the audiences enjoyed the show whole-heartedly.

Lata’s mastery lies in expressing the emotions in presenting minute details and Jiva presented all that taught by her master. She gets involved in the performance by being immersed deeply in emotion herself. It was a feast for the audiences to watch her performance on stage.
