BJP executive president JP Nadda on Sunday blasted the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Congress claiming that both the parties have looted the tribals. Nadda who reached State addressing public meeting at Chaibasa in support of BJP candidate JB Tubid said that JMM and Congress alliance is unholy as their sole aim to grab the power. “These parties have nothing to do with development of State. Their politics revolve around selfishness as both these parties promote dynastic politics.” Nadda said. Questioning the Congress party, he said when the separate statehood movement was going on Congress is giving firing orders on people who demanded a separate state.

The BJP said that Congress and JMM have been doing politics in the name of tribals for a long time. But when it came to the interest of tribals, they only shed crocodile’s tears. “These parties have not even given the rights to Backward as it was Prime Minister Narendra Modi who had given the constitutional status to the Backward Classes Commission,” added Nadda.

Indian soldiers had been demanding One Rank-One Pension (OROP) for a long time, but the Congress government never took interest in their demand, it was Prime Minister Narendra Modi who gave the benefit of One Rank-One Pension to 22 lakh soldiers disbursing Rs 11,000 crore in soldiers account, he said.

Nadda said that the dream of separate state of Jharkhand was fulfilled by then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and the State’s development is being propelled by BJP’s double engine Government at Centre and State.

The BJP executive president, urging the people to reposed faith on BJP said, “In general election due to people support BJP was successful in winning 12 of the 14 seats. In Lok Sabha election, you gave 6 lakh more votes to BJP than in 2014.” 

While the country progressed under the leadership of Modi ji, the State is moving forward under the leadership of Raghubar Das. Nadda said, “The biggest achievement of Raghubar Das Government is that there is not a single graft charge against the Government. Das has given a stable and strong Government. The myth that Jharkhand is known for unstable Government with none of the Chief Minister completing its full term has been broken, as BJP Government under the leadership of Raghubar Das has not given stable Government but has led the Government to the path of developments.”

Highlighting the achievements of Raghubar Das Government, Nadda said that the under the Ujjwala scheme, around 8 crore poor women have been provided with gas cylinders, out of which 33 lakh gas connections has been provided in Jharkhand. “Modi ji gave 1 cylinder free, but the Raghubar Das government gave 1 more cylinder free from his Government. This is the benefit of double engine Government. The Government of double engine is that farmers are getting double benefits of Prime Minister Kisan Samman Yojana and Chief Minister Krishi Aashirwad Yojana,” added Nadda.  

Nadda said Jharkhand was known for Left Wing Extremism (LWE) as it was getting patronage in previous Governments. Today LWE menace is ending its root. The BJP Government is determined to end Left Wing Extremism. “During Congress regime, the state received Rs 55,253 crore in the 13th Finance Commission. In 14th Finance Commission State is getting 6 times more which is around Rs 3,31,518 crore for carrying out developmental works,” added Nadda. PNS n Ranchi
