Friday, 19 April 2019 | PNS | SUNDARGARH

In yet another incident of poll violence in the State, two brothers of BJD Sundargarh MLA candidate Jogesh Singh sustained critical injuries after being attacked by some miscreants in Sargipali

of the district late on Wednesday night.

According to reports, six to seven persons attacked Naresh Singh and Ritesh Singh with knives at around 1.45 am when the duo had gone to a hamlet in Sargipali.

They were grievously injured and admitted to the Sargipali hospital. Police have started investigation into the incident.

Jogesh Singh alleged that the attack was orchestrated by BJP Sundargarh MLA nominee Kusum Tete and her husband. Tete, however, refuted the allegations levelled against her.
