JVM plans to bounce back in Kolhan

Friday, 15 November 2019 | PNS | Jamshedpur

By fielding its central committee secretary Abhay Singh and local leader Pankaj Sau   Jharkhand Vikas Morcha-Prajatantrik (JVM-P) is hoping to bounce back in Kolhan.

Party supremo and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi would participate in a public meeting in connection with the preparations for next Assembly polls.

Marandi plans to address the public meeting Jugsalai assembly segment and a similar meet at Baharagora for Bahragora constituency. This would be part of his all 81 Assembly seats workers meet and tour programme.

A preparatory meeting of the party was held. ‘Out of the five seats under Jamshedpur seats such meets for Potka and Jamshedpur West assembly segments had already been held.

The JVM-P supremo had already announced that his party would contest all Assembly seats alone in the next elections. It had a seat sharing poll alliance with Congress in the last election.

A district leader went on to add that repeated State Governments in the State have

deviated from the development vision. Jharkhand needs a stable Government. It has gone far ahead of Bihar as far as corruption is concerned and the situation is worsening.  He said that the meetings would be an important event in run to the election preparation. Work is in full swing to make the meeting of Marandi successful.

“Babulal ji is a magnetic leader of our State, his visit is going to instill confidence among party workers and voters too. He is going to spread vision of party among the people and will mobilise party cadre.

The activists are all looking forward to listen to their leaders,” said the in-charge. He said that corruption and Maoist terror have taken over the State.  Development work has come to a standstill. People of the State will not forgive if efforts are not made sincerely for their welfare.

Marandi is one such politician that has dared to take action against it.

Taking lesson from the last two experiences JVM has apparently decided to focus more on the rural pockets of the constituency and this perhaps is the reason behind choosing Jugsalai and Bahragora to convene public meet.

“We want to focus on fielding a strong candidate to give tough fight to ruling Government in the State.

Our presence in the rural pockets of the district is relatively less than our rivals BJP and JMM so the party has decided to cover the ground before time,” said a leader.
