Former Union Minister and Guna MP, Jyodiraditya Scindia held a one to one meeting with Cabinet Ministers, MLAs and officers at the conference hall of the new collectorate.

The agenda of the meeting was to discuss development works of Gwalior. Three ministers from the region, Pradhuman Singh Tomar, Lakhan Singh and Imarti Devi were invited at the meeting. However, Imarti Devi could not turn up due to her sickness.

During the three hour long meeting Scindia made queries about the progress made in the implementation of various government projects, especially the Smart City Project.

Scindia also held discussions on 17 other points, including Amrut Yojana, Solid Waste Management, bringing water to the city from the Chambal River, revamp of Morar River, status of the Railway Over Bridge under construction, establishment of Civil Airport and the up-gradation of the Medical College.

The MP also discussed the financial aspects of various projects including the construction of a 1000 bed Super Specialty Hospital and various Smart City Projects.

Scindia asked the ministers, MLAs and officers to expedite completion of all pending government projects.

The meeting was attended by Vivek Shewalkar, Mayor of Gwalior, Ministers Pradhuman Singh Tomar, Lakhan Singh, MLAs Munnalal Goyal, Praveen Pathak, Bharat Singh Kushwaha, Zilla Panchayat President, Manisha Yadav, Divisional Commissioner, BM Sharma and District Collector, Bharat Yadav among others.

The other issues discussed in the meeting were- Traffic congestion in Gwalior and poor condition of roads. Scindia told the officials to keep the heritage of Gwalior city intact during the development works under the Smart City project.
