Kajari Jhoola Gayan Mahaotsav 2019 celebrated with fervor

To rejoice the monsoon season in its traditional way, Kajari Jhoola Gayan Mahaotsav 2019 is being enjoyed by the Bhopalites. On Saturday, the audience took pleasure of the melodium voices of Astha Goswami and Neena Shrivastava.

It is to be noted that the two-day event began at Antrang Hall, Bharat Bhavan here from Saturday. The programme is being organised by Anhad wing of classical music, Bharat Bhavan to observe the enjoyment of this season. The event will conclude on Sunday at Antarang Hall.

The scintillating classical ragas enthralled the Bhopalites on the second day of the event.  Astha Goswami and Neena Shrivastava beautifully presented the classical ragas on monsoon.

To begin with the event, Astha presented some of the rain songs and started off with Raga Megh in bilambit taal. Explaining the joyous moments of Kajri Jhoola, Astha then gave spontaneous performances back-to-back. Some songs that she performed won the heart of folk music lovers especially with their music.

After this musical performance, another presentation filled with calm and reviving tunes was staged. The classical singer Neena Shrivastava gave a revitalizing performance before the music lovers of the city.

She also presented some Kajri and Jhoola songs which enchanted the audience a lot. As she began her performance, an atmosphere of monsson love spread in the Antrang Hall and everyone was seemed enjoying the concert. She then performed Jhoola followed by Kajari Raga. After that she wrapped up her performance in a mesmerising traditional composition.

It was a tuneful treat for the classical music listeners at the Antrang Hall, to witness such melodious ragas on stage.
