Kathak maestro to showcase panache on Independence-Day

V Anuradha Singh a noted Kathak maestro of the city will be showcasing her panache before the audience of Rewa and Pune this Independence Day. She will be performing at patriotic classical dance fest to be held at Rewa on  Wednesday and in Pune on Monday.

The event is being organised  wherein noted classical dancers of the country will be performing. Among all, Singh will be giving a solo dance performance. She will be oerforming on ghazals and classical music.

It is to be noted that Singh has performed at various national and international dance festivals as well. Anuradha about her performance says, “ I have performed across the globe, but each time I get an opportunity to perform again, I feel the same excitement as it is the first time. I am really contented to be a part of this programme. Moreover, I am excited to stage a performance before the art lovers of different States.”

Anuradha is noted Kathak dancer from Bhopal. She is better known for her innovation and improvisation in traditional Kathak technique. Experimenting with classical Sufi Kathak, she has evolved a refined, sophisticated style in pure classical form, based on fast speeds, swift turns, mind thrilling footwork, delicacy of movements and impressive expressions.

Rhythmic understanding, ability to extemporize with speedy rhythms and preserving pure Kathak classical style are some of her qualities. With enchanting stage presence she has earned acclamation for intense and sensitive dance presentations. She has performed solo Kathak internationally in addition to more than 45 prestigious Government organized festivals in India and has also given across the world.
