According to officials, Kenya has chosen Chhattisgarh among other Indian states for studying the mines administration, because Chhattisgarh is the first state to implement compete e-auctioning of mines not only for major minerals but also for minor minerals.

“The delegation was demonstrated issuing of online e-permit/transit pass and trip closer at JK Lakshmi Cement plant in Ahiwara and ACC factory at Jamul in Durg. The checking carried out by flying squads through barcode transit pass generated by special hand held devices was also explained to them,” officials stated.

Notably, the mining online portal developed by Chhattisgarh Infotech Promotion Society (CHiPS) had recently received national e-governance award.

Secretary mining Anbalgan P, while explaining the delegation about the mines administration in Chhattisgarh also discussed the possibilities of exporting minerals from Chhattisgarh.
