On the orders of Uttarakhand High Court (HC), the Kumbh mela officer Deepak Rawat inspected the historical Raja Man Singh ki chatri and temple at Brahm Kund located at Har Ki Paidi on Saturday.
Rawat started inspection after interacting with Director of IIT Roorkee, nominated members of CBRI and Archaeological Survey of India and respondent concerned.
The objective of the inspection was to restore the historical Chatri of Raja Man Singh and temple in its orginal form. The technical committee would submit its report based on which necessary actions would be taken.
The Mela officer said that technical directions would be taken on the issue from the technical experts.
The representative of CBRI Roorkee, Achal Mittal, IIT Roorkee, Professor Umesh Kumar Sharma, representative of ASI, Ranjit Singh and second respondent, Kamalkant Budhkar were present on the occasion.
