The expedition started on January 21 and ended on January 29. Arlab reached the peak at 6.30 am on Saturday and unfurled the National Flag. Later Lipika reached the top at 7 am and unfurled the flag.

While the MCL sponsored Lipika, the Bhubaneswar School of Adventures provided financial support to Kusa. The two mountaineers have planned to climb Europe’s highest peak Mount Elbrus in July and Mount Aconcagua in December.
