Two labourers were killed in a landslide when they were loading soil onto a tractor at Manchada village under Bandhugaon block in Koraput district on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Kishore Wateka and Kashi Rabi. Another labourer was critically injured in the mishap and hospitalised.
The incident took place at around 5.30 pm when a portion of the land on which they were working caved in, killing two on the spot.
The local tehsildar said ex-gratia would be provided to the families of the deceased as per the norms of the State Government.
