nLeader of Opposition and BJP leader Dharamlal Kaushik said recovery of half burnt bodies of two women and an innocent child and gang rape of a girl in Bilaspur point towards the breakdown of law and order in the state.
He said criminal elements are openly indulging in act of burning persons alive and this raises many questions over the claims of the government of providing security to the state’s residents.
Kaushik said on Sunday, at Rajpur in Surguja division one half-burnt body of woman was found and on Monday in Mana area charred remains of an infant and a woman was found. The country is already in shock over the Hyderabad and Prumbavoor incidents and within two days in Chhattisgarh also similar incidents were being reported.
He earlier said recently a girl was gang raped in Bilaspur by three youths.
BJP leader said slowly the state is also falling in grip of increasing crime and the state government has failed to control it. He added that since the Congress government came to power crime graph has increased.
He demanded a high-level probe into the recent in-human incidents and the law enforcing officials should be pulled up for the failure.
