The Shodashi Samaroh of founder of Bharat Mata Mandir Swami Satyamitranand was held on Wednesday morning amidst Vedic chanting and tributes by Governors of various States, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and members of the religious fraternity.
Messages from the President of India Ram Nath Kovind, noted industrialists and others were also read out in the event held at Saptrishi Ashram grounds.In his message President Kovind said that he was grieved to know of the demise of Swami Satyamitranand Giri. Satyamitranand was always concerned about the people and their welfare and was always dedicated to nation’s service. He made several organisations for the sovereignty of the country and was attached to many organisations, stated the President. Condolence message of famous singer Lata Mangeshkar was also read out.
The Governor of Uttarakhand Baby Rani Maurya, Jharkhand Governor Droupadi Murmu, Meghalaya governor Tathagata Roy, Bihar governor Lalji Tandon, Goa governor Mridula Sinha, union minister of HRD Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank, CM Trivendra Singh Rawat, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar, Uttarakhand Assembly speaker Prem Chand Agarwal, former Chief Minister of MP Shiv Raj Singh Chouhan, former CM of Haryana Bhupinder Singh Hooda, members of the religious fraternity and former CM of Uttarakhand Harish Rawat along with state cabinet minister Madan Kaushik were also among those present on the occasion.
