After a rise in temperature for about a week now, light rainfall is likely to occur in isolated places of the state on Friday. The State Meteorological Centre has forecast very light to light rain and thunderstorm at isolated places of the State especially in the mountains.
In Dehradun too, thunder cloud development is likely to occur in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperatures in Dehradun on Friday are likely to be about 34 degree Celsius and 18 degree Celsius respectively. The meteorological centre has also stated that the temperature is likely to rise and reach four degrees or six degrees above normal nearly by April 6 and may remain the same for the next four to five days.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded at various places in the state were 33 degree Celsius and 17.9 degree Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 33.4 degree Celsius and 17 degree Celsius in Pantnagar, 23.6 degree Celsius and 11.1 degree Celsius in Mukteshwar and 22.4 degree Celsius and 13 degree Celsius in New Tehri respectively.
