Madhuri, Rekha win silver, Priyanshi bronze in national wrestling contest

The players of Madhya Pradesh Martial Arts Wrestling Academy gave an impressive performance at national competition.

Player Madhuri Patel, 39 kgs and Rekha Jat in 58 kg weight gave each silver medal to Madhya Pradesh in national wrestling competition held in Kota from Rajasthan from June 21 to 23. In the competition, Academy's player Priyanshi Prajapat earned bronze medal in 50 kg weight.

The medal winners of the National Wrestling Competition will meet the State Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Jitu Patwari and Director Sports and Youth Welfare S.L. Thoussen. Both of them havr congratulated the medal winners.

Academy's player Varsha Pandey (54kg) and Shivani Sharma (42kg) also participated in the competition. All the above players are trained under the guidance of the wrestling academy Sumit Sehrawat and Vinay Prajapati.

Meanwhile, players from Madhya Pradesh State Archery Academy, Jabalpur, Smile Kishor, Ragni Marco, Arshiya Chaudhary and Chirag Students represent the Indian team in the World Archery Contest in Youth and Cadets in Madrid in August, 2019.

Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Jitu Patwari congratulated selected players while appearing in the Indian team for Youth and Cadet World Archery Contest. He has given good luck to the players while encouraging them to perform well in the competition and win medals.

Director Sports and Youth Welfare S.L. Thoussen also congratulated the players and congratulated them. The said player is receiving training from Archery Academy's Chief Instructor Richpal Singh Salaria and Assistant Trainer  Rashmi Singh, Ashok Kumar Yadav and Ravi Pradhan for the Archeology Sports.
