A 40-year-old man committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance at his residence in Shankar Nagar under Chola Mandir police station area on Monday. According to the police, the deceased Suresh Kahar was found in an unconscious state by the family members and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died during treatment. Police were informed and based on the information a police team reached the spot and started investigation. The deceased committed suicide late in the night after he failed to pursued his wife to return home who left house few days ago due to fight.
The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
