Many illegal structures and a long boundary wall were demolished near the Prabhuji English Medium School in the VSS Nagar area and near the Sainik School back gate for widening of roads.
The enforcement squad comprising officers and staff of BDA, BMC, R and B and GA Department undertook the evection drive.
Six tin shed shops, six AC shed shops, six tiffin stalls, 11 tin shed houses, five bamboo/ polythene shed shops, seven cabins, six sign boards, 26 extension parts of shops and a 1,190-ft- long boundary wall wear demolished.
BDA Enforcement Officer-II Pramod Kumar Patro, Liaison Officer, Subhransu Sekhar Mohanty and R and B Assistant Engineer, Ramesh Chandra Sahu and Ramakanta Mishra were present.
