Maoist posters, banners and leaflets surfaced again in the district on Wednesday at Deokupuli Chowk under the Muniguda police station. Later, police removed them with much caution as they suspected, the Red rebels might have attacked them to detonators and mines to harm the security forces.
The Maoist posters and banners which stated to be put up by CPI(Maoist), Odisha State Committee demanded the Government to shift the CRPF camp from Trilochanpur gram panchayat office and to stop killing Maoist revolutionaries in fake encounters.
They have requested to make the Maoist bandh on October 25 in Odisha and Chhatisgarh bandh a sucess. The posters also demanded to stop atrocities in Kashmir and midnight arrests by security forces in Lanjigarh. Police are keeping a vigil on the situation and the investigation is under process.
