Municipal commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey said, “The representatives from CBSE schools and Kendriya Vidyalayas came here for the meeting. School representatives of Uttarakhand Board and Shree Guru Ram Rai (SGRR), which come along the way of our proposed route, also came for the meeting. There response is positive for the event. Our preparation for the event is on its last stage.”

Superintendent of Police (traffic) Prakash Chandra Arya said that he will be conducting meeting about the route plan for the day. It is important to mention here that the route proposed for the human chain event is of about 50 kilometres, which raises concern about the traffic situation at that time. According to officials, it is likely that the traffic will remain operational at one side.
