MCL Director KR Vasudevan pinned new ranks to 33 security personnel at a “pipping ceremony” organised at the company headquarters here on Monday in the presence of Chief of Security retired Lt Col B K Singh.
While two Security Sub-Inspectors have been promoted to the rank of Security Inspector (T and S-B), 13 Assistant Security Sub-Inspectors elevated to the rank of Security Sub-Inspector (T andS-C) and 18 Head Security Guard to the rank of Assistant Security Sub-Inspector (T and S-D).
All the promoted security personnel were motivated to undertake new assignments at various units of MCL spread over Angul, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh and Sambalpur districts.
