Measles-Rubella campaign inaugurated by Minister

Minister for Public Health and Family Welfare Tulsiram Silawat inaugurated Measles-Rubella campaign at Vidhyasagar School of Indore on Wednesday. He told officers and employees of the department that Measles-Rubella campaign should be transformed into a public movement. Silawat mentioned that children are future of the country.

Therefore every section of the society should contribute in the vaccination campaign to make strong and disease free future.

Silawat further mentioned that we have to conduct the campaign in the form of challenge.

Efforts should be made to get all the children vaccinated. He also administered pledge to all for disease eradication and distributed certificates to the children who were vaccinated.

Silawat paid visit to schools and madarsas of Indore on Wednesday.

He administered oath for vaccination campaign at Central School No. 1, Indore and said that it is necessary to provide permanent health cover to the children to help them in reaching top positions.

He informed that Measles-Rubella vaccination campaign gives security cover to children from two fatal diseases.

Silawat also visited madarsa situated in Khajrana and took part in the vaccination campaign.

He also participated in signature campaign being conducted in Indore city to stimulate vaccination campaign.

Members of the State Cabinet inaugurated Measles-Rubella Vaccination Campaign in various districts of the state. Minister for Public Relations, Law and Legislative Affairs, Science and Technology, Aviation, Religious Trusts and Endowment PC Sharma inaugurated the campaign at Carmel Convent School of BHEL area.

He mentioned that participation of all sections of the society should be ensured in the campaign.

Public Works Minister Sajjan Singh Verma while inaugurating the campaign in Dewas, emphasized on work with dedication during the campaign and said that it should not be considered as mere government duty.

Inaugurating the campaign in Guna district, the Minister for Labour Mahendra Singh Sisodiya stated that vaccination is an aspect related to life. This should be taken with utmost seriousness.

Minister for Animal Husbandry, Fishermen Welfare and Fisheries Development Lakhan Singh Yadav mentioned that a security cover is being provided to the children through MR vaccination. Start vaccinating all the children aged between 9 months and 15 year of age.

The Measles-Rubella Vaccination was also inaugurated in other districts of the state on Wednesday.
