The youngsters of the city recited their beautiful and different creations before the literary buffs of the city. Mahol organised the first literary open mic 'Mehfil-e-Qudrat' of its first season at Central Kafe here on Thursday.

It is to be noted that Mahol is an initiative by Ansh Happiness Society to bring all the performing arts together on one stage. The theme of Open mic was environment. It was organised with an aim to create awareness about saving environment. The immense talent of young girls and boys of the city was a must watch for the audience. The open mic was organised with a purpose to provide a platform for talented people to showcase their talent before the Bhopalites.

As many as 15 performances were held on the day. There were solo dance performances on Bollywood tracks and there were solo singing musical performances. The performers not only presented the musical tracks. The participants beautifully presented songs not only in English but also Hindi poetries added charisma in the evening. The musical performance by young artists added much zest in the open mic. The audiences were seen totally engrossed in the melodious music performed by the youngsters of the city.

Other than the musical performances, some of the participants recited their poetries, short stories, Urdu shayaris and more. The poetries were another treat for the listeners. Being a wondrous presentation for the old songs and ghazal lovers, the show evoked a pretty good response. The music lovers tapped their feet along as the calm music and poetries were beautifully performed before them.
