Met Dept issues warning of intense showers

The State Meteorological Centre has issued warning of intense showers at isolated places in Dehradun, Haridwar, Pauri, Udham Singh Nagar, Chapawat and Nainital districts on Monday. On the whole, the weather will likely remain partly cloudy with possibility of light to moderate rainfall and thunderstorms at most places.

In the provisional capital of Uttarakhand, light to moderate rainfall and thunderstorms are likely to occur at most places on Monday. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 34 degree Celsius and 23 degree Celsius respectively.

Meanwhile on Sunday, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded at various places in the state were 31.4 degree Celsius and 23.9 degree Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 35.9 degree Celsius and 26.9 degree Celsius in Pantnagar, 21.6 degree Celsius and 10.6 degree Celsius in Mukteshwar, 24.2 degree Celsius and 17.4 degree Celsius respectively in New Tehri.
