The first mid-career training programme for State Police Service officers will begin on October 14. The training program which would span over four weeks would be held at four national and international level institutions.
The inaugural ceremony of the training program would be held at RCVP Naronha Academy of Administration and Management, Shahpura, on October 14 at 11 am.
DG Administrative Academy, Iqbal Singh Bains would be Chief Guest and Principal Secretary Home SN Mishra would be special guests on the occasion. Special DG Police Training Sanjay Rana will preside over the inauguration ceremony.
About 64 police officers of the State Police Service, who have completed 12 years of service, are participating in the training programme.
A four-week mid-career training program will be run at four different institutions of national and international level. In the initial week, from October 14 to 18, 2019 training will be conducted at RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration and Management. In which training will be imparted in social legislation, e-governance, public order and victimology as well as coordination with other departments and related acts.
The second phase would be conducted from October 20 to 25, 2019 at North-Eastern Police Academy, Umsaw Meghalaya. In which training will be given on issues related to gender, coordination with central forces and army and sensitization skills and internal security.
The third and fourth training session would be held from October 28 to November 2 at the Tata Institute of Social Science Mumbai and from November 4 to 9 at Sheffield Hallam University and a tour of British police institutes.
