Min: Will urge Centre to implement Koshiyari report

Minister for Public Relations PC Sharma today said that the Union Government will be urged to implement Koshiyari Committee’s report. Sharma paid tribute to the Martyrs of Pulwama attack by lighting a candle before the start of a meeting of the National Coordination Committee of the Retired Employees (1995) held at Panchanan Bhavan, Bhopal. 

Sharma said that no action has been taken yet by the Centre on the report presented in Rajya Sabha in the year 2013 by the committee formed under the Chairmanship of the BJP’s Member of Parliament Koshiyari.

He further stated the Chief Minister will be urged to send a letter to the Union Government to implement the report. He informed that a letter in this regard was sent by the Chief Minister Kamal Nath in the past in the capacity of the State President of Congress Party. It was informed in the meeting that on implementation of Koshiyari’s report, as many as 3.5 lakh pensioners and 36 lakh employees of the state will be benefitted. The meeting was also addressed by the Employees’ Leader Virendra Khogal, Chandrashekhar Parsai, Mahesh Malviya and Ajay Nilu Shrivastava.
