Chhattisgarh Minister for Tourism and Culture and Home Affairs Tamradhwaj Sahu instructed the officials to prepare a work plan for establishing a ‘Sanskriti Haat’ at Mahant Ghasidas Museum premises.
An instruction to this regard was given by him while inspecting the museum on Friday morning.
Handicraft and artifacts would be on display for sale at the haat and local artists would benefit from it.
The minister also earmarked a space for it beside Gadhkalewa and instructed the concerned officials to construct adequate numbers of stalls for establishing Sanskriti Haat.
The minister also inspected in museum, the statues of archeological importance and gave necessary instructions for their conservation and maintenance.
