Minister to hold Road Safety Council meet

Home Minister Bala Bachchan will hold a meeting of the State Road Safety Council at Vallabh Bhavan on Tuesday at 12 noon. Discussion will be held on the implementation of Section 215 (2) of the Motor Vehicles Act-1988.

The meeting will be attended by Transport, Rural Development, Urban Development and Environment, Public Works, Public Health and Family Welfare and School Education Ministers along with Mayors of Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior and Jabalpur Municipal Corporations, Director General of Police, Additional Chief Secretary Finance, Principal Secretaries of School Education, Rural Development, Transport, Public Works, Urban Administration and Development, Public Health and Family Welfare and Public Relations Department, Officer on Special Duty of Home Minister, Transport Commissioner, Commissioner Urban Administration and Development , Managing Director of Road Development Corporation, Chief Executive Officer of Rural Road Development Authority and regional officers of National Highways Authority of India.

Principal Secretary Home SN Mishra will hold a meeting of the State Road Safety Implementation Committee on September 18 at 12 noon. Among those who will attend the meeting are Director General of Police and Additional Chief Secretary / Principal Secretary / Secretary of the departments of Panchayat and Rural Development, Medical Education, School Education, Transport, Public Works, Urban Development and Environment, Finance, Commercial Taxes, Public Relations, Public Health and Family Welfare, Special Director General of Police PTRI, Transport Commissioner, Regional Officer of National Highways Authority of India, Managing Director of MP Road Development Corporation, Chief Executive Officer of Rural Road Development Authority and the Municipal Corporation Commissioners of Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior and Jabalpur.
