Tuesday, 11 June 2019 | Staff Reporter | Bhopal

Decision has been taken to exempt minority colleges run by Department of Higher Education in the State from online admission process. Commissioner Higher Education Raghavendra Singh said that module will be available for departmental admission portal for minority institutes.

Registration of concerned student in the college is mandatory. While complying with the timetable, the institutions will be able to register information of the enrolled students on the portal in the prescribed period by using the institute’s user ID and password. This module will get automatically locked after the last date. Commissioner Singh said that if the certificate presented by the institutions regarding minority recognition is found to be wrong at any time, the exemption will end by itself.

For this academic session, online admission will be given in three phases in 1250 colleges. In graduation first year, on June 10 counselling would take place in the first phase, July 3 in the second phase and college level counselling on July 22. In post graduation first year, first phase of online admission will begin on June 15. The second phase will be held on July 13 and college level counseling on July 29.
