Miscreants booked for firing at 30-yr-old man

Jehangirabad police have booked unidentified miscreants for opening fire at a 30-year-old man near Neelam Park late in the night on Tuesday.

Police said that the victim Zuber of Ahir Mohalla was shot near Neelam Park when he was on his way to Karond to drop his friend Azeem.

According to the police, injured was rushed to a nearby hospital after his condition is reportedly stable. The victim was not able to provide detail of the miscreant. He felt pain and when he started to bleed then he came to know that he has been shot in his shoulder.

The police have registered a case under sections 307 and 34 of the IPC. The victim was taken to LBS hospital where he was later shifted to Chirayu hospital.

During the investigation police have found that the victim got hit due to mistaken identity as he do not have enmity and holds no crime record. Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 307 of the IPC and started further investigation.

Meanwhile, Chhola Mandir police have booked a notorious criminal for opening fire in air at Deepa Nagar on Tuesday.

Police said that the victim Nishat and her husband Raja were threatened by accused Gufran who fired in air and who came to know about the whereabouts of his wife. 

Gufran married Nishat’s younger sister Aarti who left him him and went to her parents in Bina. Gufran came to know about the whereabouts of Aarti. The police have registered a case under sections 307 and 506 of the IPC and have started search for the accused.
