Miscreants target clerk’s house, Valuables worth Rs  80K taken away

Unidentified miscreants targeted the house of a clerk at Lake View Colony on Friday and escaped with valuables worth Rs 80,000. Ratibad police have registered a case and started investigation.

According to the police, the victim, Samandar Singh had gone to work while his wife had gone to Anganwadi in the morning and when she the valuables were found burgled.

A complaint was lodged by the victim with the Ratibad police and in his complaint the victim stated that he had gone to work while his wife had gone to Anganwadi center and when she returned door was found open and on entering valuables were found burgled.

Gold and silver jewelry worth Rs 80,000 were found burgled. The total loss in the burglary was around Rs 1 lakh .The victim was not able to provide details of the cash burgled.

The victim had gone to meet his relative in Kharpi village at around 12 noon and when his wife returned from work at around 1.30 in the afternoon.

The police have registered a case under section 457 and 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation. The security guards of the society and domestic help would be questioned in the investigation.

During the investigation police found that the neighibours of victim heard sound of breaking and informed the victim but the time victim reached the house miscreants escaped with the valuables.

The CCTV cameras installed in the area and nearby areas would be searched during the further investigation to establish the identity of the miscreants.
